Aggregate Shipment

Aggregate Shipment Definition:

Freight consignment from multiple sellers addressed for a single receiver delivery.

An aggregate shipment provides an option for reducing transportation costs and increasing efficiency. When multiple containers are coming from multiple shippers but are delivered to one destination, consolidating means avoiding multiple charges in certain areas. For instance, there would only be one customs clearance cost instead of multiple costs.
