Carrier

Carrier Definition:

A carrier in the logistics field is an individual, entity, or company such as Container Transport responsible for delivering cargo or containers in a timely and efficient way

While a carrier is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of a container, they also handle documentation, communicate with clients on the state of the shipment and other updates, and coordinate with shipping or transport managers. Carriers are vital in the supply chain process, ensuring efficient delivery of clients' cargo or containers. A carrier should be qualified to handle shipment from one city, region, county, state, or country to another.
