Flatbed

Flatbed Definition:

A Flatbed is a truck or trailer designed with a flat back body primarily used for oversized and overweight cargo or equipment hauling.

A Flatbed is ideal for transporting over-dimensional and super-heavy cargo. These heavy-duty commercial trucks have no roof or side walls, and the truck or trailer bed is usually made of steel for durability. The open design of the Flatbed makes it easy to load and unload with forklifts, cranes, ramps, and other equipment. You can also load it from any angle. Generally, the Flatbed presents dimensional flexibility for large cargo. They include double drops, RGNs, and step decks.
