O/S (Open Sided Shipping Container)

O/S (Open Sided Shipping Container) Definition:

This is a standard container with normal lockable doors on the end but with bi-fold doors on one longer side that open to the entire container length.

Unlike conventional containers with fully solid walls on the longer sides, open-sided shipping containers can be fully opened on one longer side. These containers make it easy to load and unload cargo. You can get these containers in 20—or 40-foot dimensions. Their versatile nature makes them excellent for shipping various cargo, such as industrial materials, including pipes, steel beams, lumber, and other items that may be difficult to load through conventional container doors. Also, most open-sided containers are available for one-trip shipment.
